SB 2011, Padre Love ♥

So for our final spring break, my best friends and I all decided we needed to do something big. We had been talking about it for literally years, so back in December we decided we were going to go to South Padre Island, Texas.  It was 4 of us going, myself and my 3 best friends. After saving up for months and nearly dying of anticipation, we finally left on the early morning of March 11. We drove the whole 22 hours to South Padre, stopping for what was like a 4 hour nap in San Antonio.

This is Soozan, our gps. She saved our lives, and also endangered them at the same time.
Still love her though.

In Texas, driving friendly means driving ten miles under the speed limit.
EVERYWHERE.

We had a LOT of fun on the drive, really made the whole trip that much more fun.

Melissa's car was LOADED! Her whole back seat and trunk was full.

We also got bored on the drive.....

When we got there it was INSANITY! The island itself is tiny, no more than four miles long and the whole thing was full of college students. I'm not exaggerating either. When we first pulled up to our hotel we saw a girl getting arrested because she was so drunk in public. That told us we had chosen the right destination for our break! We spent three days and four nights there, and quite honestly I think those were the best three days and four nights I've ever had here in America.
Every night we went to this bar called Louie's Backyard. It was where everyone went, and it was always packed! They had these delicious drinks which we never really got the name of so we just called them cherries (they came with like 12 marachino cherries). Also, they were humungous, as you can see, almost as big as Melissa and I's faces!

The whole time we spent at Louie's all we did was dance. We barely even socialized, we just danced. It was so much fun and everyone there was having just as much fun as we were.  DJ Silver was there one or two of the nights, and he was the BEST DJ I had ever heard.  Apparently he is world renowned also so that was pretty neat.  Here's a couple more pictures of our fun times at Louie's....

Our Bud Light tats.

The Corona promoter who gave us free Coronoa every night.

Look at all the cherries!

Like I said earlier, we totally picked the right place to go for break, not only for Louie's and all the other college kids, but for Coca-Cola Beach. Coca-Cola Beach is insanity.  It is literally thousands of college kids on the beach drinking, dancing, and singing all day.  We had SO much fun when we went, and met tons of awesome people! Here's a few pictures from our great times.

Needless to say, we had THE best spring break ever. And trust me, we did not take one bit of it for granted!
